What To Know
The team will longitudinally profile T cell repertoires and phenotypes in people with Crohn's disease who do and do not respond to anti-IL-23 therapy, plus healthy controls and HLA+ microbiome–matched humanized mice. They plan to prioritize TCRs for cloning and screen them to identify microbiome-specific T cells and characterize their phenotypes.
These are translational, preclinical and human profiling studies intended to map which microbes are targeted by antigen-specific T cells and how those cells differ in health versus disease.
